I am a quasi-perfectionist. Meaning, I would very much prefer for things to be perfect. However (*deep breath*) I know that we live in an imperfect world, and I can't make everything perfect. At least not the first time :)
So, here is my second attempt at creating place where I share things I have done in my teaching, reflect on what worked and what didn't, and gather suggestions and ideas from others in this community we call the world wide web.
My first attempt at a blog/website was here: http://esllearnings.webs.com/
There, you can learn about things like:
- Working with factors in 5th grade (and a great flip book!)
- Using the ipad app ScreenChomp to promote speaking and collaboration
- Working with homophones in 4th grade
- Using the ipad app AirSketch for some classroom fun
I'm hoping to make my permanent home here. Come join me on this journey we call teaching!
